Paige Arndt (‘22)*
This is Paige's 8th production at Warren County High School. Some of the roles she has played include Catherine (These Shining Lives), Judy (Night of the Living Dead), and Elise (937). She would've been in The Little Mermaid, but Corona came along, and that's why we're here. This is her second year participating in the Maroon Masques Summer Showcase, and is one of the acting and communication leads this year for the showcase. She misses all of her theatre people very badly. Be safe :)
Kaitlyn Barbee (‘17)*
I started theatre in 9th grade; Shrek the Musical was the first show I was in. I was so inspired by all the seniors at the time that I knew this was where I belonged in high school. I have met and performed with so many amazing people. Some of these friendships have extended beyond high school, and I’m so thankful for that. Everyone in theatre helped me grow as an actor and a person. Mr. Whitney was also an influential part of my high school career. He is an amazing director and teacher and has inspired me. I know that he’s going to bring care and inspiration to all who enter his classroom!

GARRETT BLANKENSHIP (‘16)*
After graduation in 2016, I had wondered if theatre would stay as such a big part of my life as it did going through high school. Sadly, the short answer is no. I only had the chance to be in 2 summer showcases with life getting too far in the way. But that didn't stop me from having my moments on or off stage in the 20+ shows with Chris Whitney and the chance to return briefly to my role as Sebastian from Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella.
Lindsay Bronston (‘16)*
Lindsay Bronston graduated from Warren County High School in 2016, and has just completed her Bachelor of Arts in theatre at Hollins University. She currently lives in Richmond, VA. She performed in more than 10 shows at WCHS and is eternally grateful to Chris Whitney for his inspiring mentorship through and beyond her time at WCHS.
Felicity Caldwell (‘16)*
Abbie Carrigan (‘18)*
I’ve been in numerous shows with Mr. Whitney since my eighth grade year, almost too many to count. Four of my older siblings have been taught by and worked with Mr. Whitney and I’m honored to be the last. Chief has taught me so many things and I’ve made so many good memories and friends through theatre. I hope you all enjoy this show and tribute to Mr. Whitney!
Evie Carrigan (‘16)*
During my high school years, theater was a major part of my life. Whether I was dancing, acting, or doing hair and costumes, theater was place I could belong and something I could be a part of. Thank you chief for being the incredible teacher you are, this for you.
Zeb Carrigan (‘13)*

Hailey Lood (‘14)*
I haven't done much acting since high school, but it's always fun to come back and help raise funds for the theatre department that was so incredibly important to me. Through the acting department at WCHS I gained so much confidence and trust in my self, I met some of the best friends I could ever hope to have, and the boy I always seemed to get cast alongside is now my husband. To say I was a theatre geek is a BIG understatement, but my life would be unrecognizable without this program and the influence of all of the other theatre geeks around me.
Ethan Martin (‘16)*

This is Allison’s second time doing the showcase, and hopefully not her last! Her past productions you may have caught were as follows: Super Scary, 937, Freaky Friday, Night of the Living Dead, These Shining Lives, and (thanks to Mr. Whitney), 10 Ways To Survive Life In Quarantine. She’d like to thank HER desk, in the theater, for supporting her back (as she will forever miss that desk). She’d also like to thank Richard for doing SO MUCH. She would like to thank Mr. Whitney for being an amazing teacher and director, and wishes him a safe adventure with his new students.
As always, she hopes you enjoy the show!

Amber Ross (‘17)*
I was not prepared for how much theatre would impact my life. No one told me I would find so much confidence in the characters I played. I still can’t believe how much I learned from the women I got to embody on WCHS’s stage. No one mentioned I would make friendships with people who are closer than family to me today. I never thought I would meet the love of my life in high school, especially on stage playing his wife. I didn’t know an auditorium could be a home. No one warned me that one day all of this would fade away. I didn’t know how much I could miss a place until it came time to grow up, grow old. I am so thankful to Chris Whitney and the time he spent helping me find the best in myself. He was always more than a teacher; he cared, he listened. He is without a doubt all of our friend. He pushed me past all of the walls I boxed myself into and truly helped me reach my full potential as an actress. Thank you for all of the one act competitions, for the Shakespeare competitions, and all the competitions in between. Thank you for all of the shows I was lucky enough to be cast in and for giving me the opportunity to tell so many great stories. Thank you for believing in all of us when we didn’t have the eyes to see what we had inside ourselves. Warren County will never be the same; and to Fairfax High School: realize how lucky you are to have someone who cares so much. Don’t take him for granted. But most of all, love him as much we did.

He now works in the field of security.

During his time at SHS, he was in four Shakespeare productions, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (Audrey 2), YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN (Linus), LITTLE WOMEN (John Brooke), and THE SOUND OF MUSIC (ensemble). He also did choir for five years. He began singing in Kindergarten and later joined theatre. You can hear him soulfully singing songs from The Color Purple or Dreamgirls. With a passion in singing, you can find him in various locations locally, like his church.
Andrew Vo (‘13)*
This is Andrew’s debut in the summer showcases! His exposure to theatre began when watching THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA… during his freshman year of high school. Jenny would like to thank Mr. Whitney for the opportunities theatre may offer: growing confidence, meeting new people, having fun, and so much more!
Pattric Vo (‘12)*
Pattric is making his debut in the summer showcases! He is the eldest of his siblings. He currently attends the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa majoring in Kinesiology. I would like to thank Mr. Whitney for getting me into the world of theatre; I don’t know where my life would be without this passion. @vogurt
Tracy Vo (‘18)*
Salutations, English-reading humans! ( ᵘ ᵕ ᵘ ⁎) This is my first time ever being a part of a show where my face is being shown! (ᗒᗨᗕ) I was a tech for the One Act, These Shining Lives, in 2015, and I’m currently on a mission to grow my confidence back (despite being senior class president during high school)! I would love to thank my brothers who have helped her through this journey, as well as Mr. Whitney for introducing me to theatre. <3 Thank you, and a “thank you” to you guys, the audience; with much love and respect, please enjoy the show! Not only is she an actress, but she has dabbled in tech as a Stage Manager: FREAKY FRIDAY and ANATOMY OF GRAY.
Dorie Walters (‘17)*
When I chose to do Theatre my 8th grade year, I had no clue that it would give me so many amazing memories. Being a part of it my entire high school experience really made me into who I am today. Not only that, but it gave me the opportunity to meet so many amazing and talented people that have continued to be a part of my life. While I may not have played many leading roles, it still opened my eyes to my potential. Thank you!
Lucas Weber (‘22)
Lucas has been a part of 12 Maroon Masques productions. Shows he has performed include: Freaky Friday, These Shining Lives, Night of the Living Dead, and 10 Ways to Survive Life in a Quarantine. He has also done tech for A Midsummer Night's Dream and She Kills Monsters. He would have been King Triton in The Little Mermaid and Moon Starchild in Space Princess Wars, but things happened. I would like to thank my rabbit for keeping me sane. I hope you enjoy the show!!!!
